After a successful Fourth of July Celebration, the City of Beaumont announced the return of two of its cornerstone events, the 6th Annual Beaumont Craft Beer Fest and the 13th Annual Jazz + Blues Fest. Both events will take place in Downtown Beaumont on Saturday, September 18, offering Beaumont a day of live entertainment and fun for everyone.

“People from across the region joined us on July 4th in Downtown to celebrate. We are excited to offer these annual events and encourage people to buy their tickets early,” said Emily Wheeler, Director of Event Services. “These two events are mainstays in our community, and we are excited to offer them after postponements in 2020.”

Beaumont Craft Beer Fest, now in its 6th year, has historically sold out within hours. The event takes place indoors and outdoors at the Event Centre from 2-5 p.m. and features Texas and national craft breweries. Attendees can sample several selections from a variety of brewers, meet brewers and brewery staff and more. This year, Beer Fest ticketholders will gain free entry to the adjacent Jazz + Blues Fest.

Tickets for Beaumont Craft Beer Fest go on sale Friday, July 16, at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com. General tickets are $30 and include beer fest event entry, souvenir cup and tasting card, plus event entry to Jazz + Blues Fest. Beer Fest event attendees must be 21 or older.

The Beaumont Jazz + Blues Fest, now in its 13th year, boasts an incredible lineup featuring live performances by The Suffers, Mike Zito, Theresa Grayson and others.

The Suffers, from Houston, have been on a steady grind since 2011. There is a contagious and combustible energy every time the eight-piece band steps on the scene. Following The Suffers' electrifying late night TV debut on "Late Night with David Letterman" in 2015, Letterman exclaimed, "If you can't do this, get out of the business!"

This Gulf Coast soul band will bring elements of classic American Soul and rock and roll to Beaumont for an incredible show. "We make music for all people," said lead vocalist Kam Franklin. "At this point, we've played all over the world and one thing is certain - if the music is good, the people will enjoy it."

The outdoor festival with specialty beer, food trucks, and fun for the entire family will take place at the hills by the Lake at the Event Centre in downtown beginning at 4 p.m.

Tickets for Jazz + Blues Fest will be available Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $20 and kids 12 and under are in free.
