The Symphony of Southeast Texas will perform their Home for the Holidays Concert on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. inside the Julie Rogers Theatre (765 Pearl St.) in downtown Beaumont.

Under the direction of Maestro Chelsea Tipton II, the concert will include popular Christmas music and seasonal treats, which includes feature artist Daniel Emmet.

A Finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” Emmet is best known for taking on the “impossible challenge” levied by judge Simon Cowell; to learn a brand-new song in Italian, in one hour, and then perform it live on national television. It was a spellbinding moment that, as in all of Emmet’s AGT performances, brought the judges and America to their feet in fervent applause. His run on AGT was sensational, culminating in his command performance in the finale of the season, a stunning duet with Plácido Domingo.

His wide range of expression spans the musical genres from rock to pop, to opera, all the while singing in seven languages. Fans from all over the world are abuzz with praise for Emmet, winning their hearts not only with his signature, powerhouse vocals, but also with his infectious smile, boyish charm and sense of humor.

Tickets are $15-$50 and can be purchased online at sost.org. For more information, call (409) 892-2257.
