Don’t let the name fool ya. Pardi Gras is Mardi Gras with a cause. Southeast Texas Circle of Hope’s seventh annual event will happen this weekend in the Beaumont Civic Center on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 6-11:30 p.m.

Dress in your favorite Mardi Gras apparel and get ready to dance the night away to the sounds of Three Thirty Seven. This nine-piece party band from Lafayette, Louisiana, features Ashley Addison and Cory Landry on vocals with a killer rhythm section, soulful vocals, perfectly placed rhythm and lead guitars accompanied by a powerful horn section. Their high-energy sound spans decades and includes your favorite songs from five decades.

Food? No problem. Red beans, rice and sausage will be served, and cash bars are available for drinks. Tickets are $26 and can be purchased online at southeasttexascircleofhope.com.

Proceeds will benefit the Southeast Texas Circle of Hope, which is a nonprofit charitable organization founded in December of 2014. Its mission is to assist those in need of help with funds for catastrophic event, medical and/or funeral needs. They seek to assist those in need not only financially, but emotionally as well through the outpouring of love and support from the community around them.

The Civic Center is located at 701 Main St. in downtown Beaumont. For more information, call (409) 550-7135.
