The Symphony of Southeast Texas will perform in their second POPS concert of the 69th season, Radiance, the Ladies of Motown, in the Julie Rogers Theatre on Saturday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m.

The music of legends has roots in the timeless classics. The ladies of Radiance, which include members Wendy Edmead, Marque Munday, Vivian Ross and Crystal Robinson, pay tribute to the music of the Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, the Marvelettes and the other female artists from that amazing musical era. Together they provide an array of talent that never leaves the audience wanting, unless it’s wanting more. Some of the many songs in their repertoire include “Come See About Me,” “Dancing in the Streets,” “Stop in the Name of Love,” “Please Mr. Postman,” “You Keep Me Hanging On,” “When Will I See You Again” and the list goes on.

The costuming, the choreography, the harmonies, the energy and excitement are second to none and make for a spectacular show transforming the audience back to an era of music that formed a major cornerstone of American music of the 1960s and ‘70s.

Tickets are $34-$75 and can be purchased online at sost.org. The Julie Rogers Theatre is located in downtown Beaumont at 765 Pearl St.
