What a whirl week of social events, which began with Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation’s La Soirée FantaSea Gala held at the Beaumont Civic Center. Kudos to 2023 chairs Melissa and Chris Fisher and their many committee members such as Aggie In, Ann Jones, Roxanne Hellberg, Michele Harrington, Sade Chick, Lisa Coon, Hope and Chad Anderson, Angela Laudig, Ken Leonard, Preston Moncla, Jane Parker, Christina Rivas, Karen Wortham, Kristie Young, Stephanie Rutledge and Angelina Rivas. Once again, Lynda Moncla and Melissa Edwards, under the leadership of Executive Director Kim Moncla, transferred the room into a blue hue of underwater deep sea. The Captain’s Table menu consisted of shrimp cocktail shooters, Greek salad, black angus boneless short ribs, seared carrots and gelato station and chocolate treasure box. Justin Doss presented The Port of Beaumont with the Leadership Award.
