Convicted sex offender and counterfeiter Christopher Shaun Drucker, 41, of Orange has again failed to register as a sex offender with the Orange Police Department (OPD), according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Sex Offender Registry, which lists him as “absconded” as of Dec. 8. Drucker appeared on the cover of The Examiner for the same reason in September 2018 when the registry listed his address as “unknown,” which was at least the third time he failed to register his actual address with the police department.

According to the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, Drucker must register annually for the rest of his life after being convicted of aggravated sexual assault of an 11-year-old child in 2001. On Dec. 7, OPD changed Drucker’s status with the registry, which now lists him as absconded, and on Dec. 8 issued a warrant for his arrest for “failure to verify sex offender,” according to Orange County records. Drucker’s last verification with OPD was Oct. 20, 2020, DPS reports.

The Examiner recently received an anonymous tip that although Drucker was apparently registered to an address on Bowling Lane in October 2021, he was not actually residing there, was moving around a lot and had been spotted in Bridge City.

Drucker has a long criminal history with convictions for aggravated sexual assault of a child – a first-degree felony, forgery, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a dangerous drug, theft and criminal trespass. After being convicted of failing to register as a sex offender and other charges, he was sentenced to six years in prison in 2018 but, according to a criminal database, he was released in 2020.

Police are searching for Drucker now. Anyone with information on his location should contact the Orange Police Department at (409) 883-1026.
