Results are in for Beaumont's municipal elections, with two new city council members elected and a mayoral runoff set after a single candidate failed to garner more than 50% of the vote.

In the race to replace Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames, Roy West and Robin Donatta Mouton received the most votes, with 4,758 and 3,451, respectively. A total of 13,747 Beaumonters cast ballots in the mayoral election. Lashon Proctor earned 2,618 votes, incumbent City Councilman W.L. Pate received 1,575 and Biguita Hernandez-Smith claimed 1,345.

With two votes for at-large council members, Beaumonters elected newcomer Albert "AJ" Turner and incumbent Randy Feldshau, earning 8,107 and 5,513 votes, respectively. There were nearly 5,000 more votes for at-large candidates than for mayor, according to data from the Jefferson County Clerk's office.

Incumbent Taylor Neild ran unopposed and earned 2,838 votes in his race for Ward 1. Incumbent Mike Getz earned 2,936 votes in a successful re-election campaign for Ward 2, edging out Miles Haynes' 1,711 and Alfred Dean's 230. Incumbent Audwin Samuel also won his re-election campaign, with 1,627 votes to Robert Walker's 774.

Ward 4 voters elected Charles Durio as their representative to replace Mouton. Durio took home 1,327 votes to Brandon Johnson's 674 and BISD Board Trustee Kevin Reece's 356.
