Beaumont to open free COVID-19 testing site for asymptomatic residents

The City of Beaumont has partnered with Riceland Healthcare to facilitate free COVID-19 testing for citizens with and without symptoms, according to a news release, no one will be denied testing. The testing site will be located at the old Fire Station No. 1 at 747 College St.

The testing site will first open from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 through Thursday, May 21. The second set of testing times will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, through Saturday, June 6. Starting May 15, any Beaumont resident who wants to be tested is encouraged to call (409) 550-2536 to register for an appointment anytime from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and again on Monday, May 18.
