In addition to a $5,000 bond, a Tyler County justice of the peace set numerous bond conditions on a Hardin County man to protect the safety of the victim, reported Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford on Oct. 14.

Oct. 6, Toutloff was arrested and charged with harboring a runaway teenage girl when deputies located a missing 17-year-old female from Warren who was with Toutloff for multiple days. The sheriff noted Justice of the Peace Trisher Ford’s bond conditions on Lucas Toutloff, 32, of Silsbee, include no contact with the victim by any means, or going within 1,200 feet of any Warren ISD property.

The Silsbee Police Department arrested Toutloff, who was later transported to the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with harboring a runaway — a Class A misdemeanor. The juvenile female was returned to her family.

Weatherford added Tyler County Sheriff’s Office investigators continue to work closely with District Attorney Lucas Babin in the continuing investigation of this case, as well as the possibility of Toutloff facing additional criminal charges.
