Christopher Lee Seeney, 36, became internet famous when he was identified as a man seen beating a teenage Orange County girl on a TikTok video that has since gone viral. June 7, Seeney was introduced to the inside of the Orange County Jail when he was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury.

An Orange County Justice of the Peace set bond for Seeney at $2,500.

According to a social media post made by the parent of the teen girl that videoed the assault on her phone, the assault occurred due to suspected road rage on a scenic road in Bridge City.

“The guy was stopped in the middle of road so girls waited, then went around him,” the mom reported, adding that the teenagers continued about a mile down the road and stopped to watch the sun set and take photos. “The man sped up to them and ripped her off the back of her car and started beating her up…they don’t know the man and have never seen him. Witnesses called 911 and cops came and took report.

“He was very intoxicated and had his wife and kids in car.”

When officers arrived, the assailant had already left the scene; and Seeney wasn’t apprehended until after more than a million viewers witnessed the incident via video.
