Capes and Crowns

Kick off the season of the Neches River Festival and Mardi Gras Southeast Texas as the groups come together to present the “Capes & Crowns 5K Run” on Saturday, Feb. 26, on the great lawn of the Event Centre, 700 Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. with a free kids 1K beginning at 8:30 a.m. The run will be a timed race with overall and age group winners, and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Registration can be found on runsignup.com. Registration is $25 for 18 and under and $30 for 19 and up and includes a ticket to enter Mardi Gras Southeast Texas the day of the race. Registration for the kids 1K is free.
