Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2002 film “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” will be shown on the big screen during Classic Movie Night at the historic Jefferson Theatre on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $4 for kids, $6 for adults, and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or at the venue, evening of the show.

“The Chamber of Secrets” is the second installment in the film series and stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, with Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) as his best friends. The story follows Potter’s second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the Heir of Salazar Slytherin opens the Chamber of Secrets, which unleashes a monster that petrifies the students. To save Hogwarts will require all of Harry, Ron and Hermiones’ magical abilities and courage.

The film grossed $879 million worldwide and has the longest runtime in the series (161 minutes). It was followed by “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” in 2004.
