Clover construction pending

The U.S. 69–Highway 73 “cloverleaf” closures are still pending at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced the October update for the long-term construction project impacting traffic in Southeast Texas.

According to the latest update on the project, crews are continuing work on soil improvements and drainage culverts on the “cloverleaf’s” northern quadrants. Southern cloverleaf quadrant work is pending, and will not be scheduled until work in complete at the intersection of Highway 73 and Savannah Avenue – work that, according to TxDOT, also “has not been scheduled.”
