Crime News: BPD charges 20-year-old with murder

Beaumont Police Department (BPD) detectives Oct. 14 filed a second murder charge in relation to a murder that occurred on Hayes Lane Aug. 25.

After charging a 14-year-old with murder in this case, BPD detectives charged Beaumont resident Elijah Jakquel Guillory, 20, with the same. Both suspects were recently jailed on unrelated charges, therefore they are already in custody, with these new charges added.

During the robbery, the suspects allegedly shot and killed Matthew Dragulski, 37, of Beaumont, while injuring a second victim, who was paralyzed as a result of the shooting and remains hospitalized.
