Crime News: PA bar patron assaulted, suffers 'serious' injuries

At midnight on Saturday, Oct. 16, Port Arthur Police Department (PAPD) officers responded to Dylan’s Bar and Grille on Ninth Avenue in reference to a man being assaulted and left unconscious.

According to a PAPD news release, EMS arrived on scene and transported him to a local hospital after he was assaulted on the bar’s patio. Officers learned that an unknown suspect assaulted the man, causing him to fall and strike his head on the floor, leaving him unconscious. The suspect then fled the scene, according to the release. The incident is under investigation.
