Homeless man found dead at park

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) investigated the death of a homeless man on Nov. 26.

BPD reported officers responded to a welfare check call at 3 p.m. about a homeless man at Central Park at the corner of Fourth and Fannin Street. The man’s body was found near a park bench. Foul play is not suspected but investigators are waiting for autopsy reports.

The man is the third homeless person found dead in the last two months.
