Langston named West Brook head football coach

Chuck Langston is the new head football coach for the West Brook Bruins. Langston, who comes over from Port Arthur Memorial High School where he was the offensive line coach, was named the new Bruin leader at a press conference March 26 by Beaumont Independent School District.

The 1991 West Brook graduate played college football at Oklahoma where he also graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in 1999.

His coaching experience includes Oklahoma (tight ends, defensive line), Central Oklahoma (head coach), Trinity Valley Community College (head coach), Trinity High School, Groveton High School, Lamar University (offensive line) and University of North Texas (offensive line).

Langston replaces Eric Peevey, who left to become the athletic director and head football coach at LC-M.
