According to the Lumberton Police Department, nine people were arrested for misdemeanors recently.

Two people were arrested July 12 for assault to cause bodily injury to family member – a Class A misdemeanor: Keevin L. Wood, 25, and Sarah L. Moses, 26.

July 13, Ashley A. Durmon, 38, and Joshua K. Swearingen, 37, were arrested for public intoxication – a Class C misdemeanor.

Corey A. Carter, 29, was arrested July 15 for driving with an invalid license with previous conviction (Class B). He also had an outstanding warrant.

July 16, Trenton G. Roberts, 26, was arrested for possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces (Class B). The same day, Johnathan R. Segeada, 28, was arrested for theft of property, less than $100 (Class C).

Marquis D. Stevens, 25, was arrested July 18 for unlawfully carrying a weapon (Class A) and possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces (Class B).
