An area man was arrested on felony child sex charge, according to a Silsbee Police Department arrest report. Jan. 11, Christopher Scott Sundgren, 40, was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.
SPD also reported six other people were arrested on various felony and misdemeanor charges:
• Jan. 9, McKenzie Claire Calnon, 20, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle (state jail felony) and James Howard Pattillo, 43, was arrested for resisting arrest, search or transport.
• Jan. 12, Justin Wayne Jackson, 43, was arrested for unlawful possession of firearm by felon (third-degree felony) and possession of marijuana, fewer than 2 ounces (Class B).
• Jan. 14, Elbert Lee Bass, 35, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication (both Class C).
• Jan. 15, Bobio Godefred Wononauh, 23, was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon (Class A) and possession of marijuana, fewer than 2 ounces (Class B).
Nine other people were arrested on warrants.
