PAPD responds to home shooting

Just before 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, Port Arthur police responded to the 3100 block of 18th St. in reference to shots fired at an occupied home, according to a news release.

When officers arrived, they observed a residence littered with bullet holes, with the home appearing to have been “struck multiple times by gunfire.” The residence was occupied at the time, but no one was injured during the shooting. This incident is under investigation by the Port Arthur Police Department (PAPD).
