Spindletop Rotary Club will host the Celebrity Roast of Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) Conductor Chelsea Tipton on Thursday, April 7, at the MCM Elegante’ Hotel from 7-9 p.m. Proceeds to benefit SOST, Some Other Place and Spindletop Rotary Club. Friends and fans are invited to attend the night of good-natured fun as Tipton’s circle “roasts” him with stories from behind the scenes at the Symphony of Southeast Texas. Roasters include SOST Executive Director Doug Fair, Calder Baptist Church Senior Pastor James Fuller, Lamar University’s Craig Escamilla, Rotary Club of Beaumont President Brad Brown and more.
