Say 'BOO' to cancer

Southeast Texans ready to save lives and have a ghoulish good time, sign and lace up for the Gift of Life’s Monster Dash from 6 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.

The Halloween-themed version of the Julie Richardson Procter 5K Ribbon Run will begin at 701 Main St. in downtown Beaumont. This year, the group is inviting guests to help them say “BOO to breast and ovarian cancer.” Participants are invited to compete in the costume contest, participate in the Harvest of Heroes Celebration Ceremony, enjoy the Pink and Teal Pumpkin Patch and trot down the candy-filled 5K Trick-or-Treat route.
