As Veterans Day approaches, Southeast Texas organizations, businesses and restaurants are saluting former servicemen and women for their contributions to the United States.

The Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting a Veterans Day Fundraising Gala on Nov. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the MCM Eleganté Hotel for $50 a ticket.

Another-Miracle.org, a group of veterans out to help other veterans, is hosting the gala with a mission to eliminate homelessness within the veteran population. The gala will include a catered dinner, dancing, cash bar and silent auction. Semi-Formal attire is required. All proceeds of the event are used to help Another-Miracle.org provide transitional shelter, blankets, clothing, nutritional meals, personal hygiene products and P.P.E. to homeless veterans.

The Lone Star Orchestra will host a night of patriotism to honor all the veterans who have served at their Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 11. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at The Oaks Event Center in Vidor starting at 7:30 p.m.

Veterans looking to celebrate the occasion with a restaurant visit will have plenty of promotions and deals to choose from the week of Veterans Day.

Logan’s Roadhouse is commemorating those who protect and serve the country by offering all veterans a free American Roadhouse Meal from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.

Veterans or active-duty military members who eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on Nov. 11 can receive a free order of boneless wings and a side of fries. Chili’s is offering veterans and active-duty military personnel their choice of a complimentary free meal.

CiCi’s will give veterans a free adult buffet with proof of military ID. During military family appreciation month, Cracker Barrel will offer in-store specials on Veterans Day for military veterans and promotions throughout November to support military families in partnership with Operation Homefront.

On Veterans Day, veterans can receive a free slice of double fudge Coca-Cola cake with their meal. Veterans who visit Dunkin’ Donuts on Veterans Day can enjoy a free donut, no purchase necessary. Veterans can also expect to find deals at restaurants like Golden Corral, IHOP, Little Caesar’s, Texas Roadhouse, Wendy’s and Wienerschnitzel.
