SPD arrest men on multiple charges

The Silsbee Police Department filed multiple charges against several males who was arrested June 7, reported Police Chief Shawn Blackwell.

Dennis Ray Tanton, 44, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault to cause bodily injury to a public servant, a third-class felonies; possession of controlled substance, a second-class felony, evading arrest, resisting arrest, and an outstanding warrant from another agency.

Braeden Hensley, 19, was arrested and charged with theft of less than $100, criminal attempt of minor in possession of alcoholic beverage, and consumption of alcoholic beverage on licensed premises.

Jerry Howard Jr., 44, was arrested and charged with evading arrest and outstanding warrant on June 9.

On June 11, Keith Wesley Fowler, 31, was arrested and charged with burglary to habitation and assault on family member.
