SPD: Three arrested on felony charges

Three people were arrested on felony charges by the Silsbee Police Department.

According to the SPD arrest report, Richard Lynn Bishop III, 24, was arrested Sept. 8 for evading arrest with vehicle — a third-degree felony. He also had a warrant out from another agency.

Sept. 6, Javion Lamond Baltrip, 27, was arrested for abandoning/endangering child-criminal negligence, a state jail felony. On Sept. 5, Richard Damon Landry, 58, was arrested for possession of controlled substance, Penalty Group 1/1B, less than 1 gram.

Four people were arrested on misdemeanor charges.

They were Elisha McMahon IV, 28, Sept. 7 for public intoxication (Class C); Dylon Ray Cupples, 28, Sept 8, driving while license invalid with previous conviction (Class B); John Vertis, 43, Sept. 8, for driving while license invalid, expired license plates and failure to maintain financial responsibility (all Class C); and Paris Reshard Lowe, 33, theft between $100 and $750 (Class B).

Six others were arrested on warrants.
