Top Ladies of Beaumont members
Beaumont’s chapter of the Top Ladies of Distinction Inc. was among 13 local organizations receiving a portion of the $55,000 awarded by the 2022 Environmental Champions Grant from Port Arthur LNG.
Top Ladies of Beaumont is a 36-member strong organization, tracing its roots back to the nonprofit’s genesis in Texas in 1964, and the Beaumont incorporation in 1967.
Founded as a partner to the Top Teens of America,” the Top Ladies still operate under a motto of service – now administering to youth and adults in its mission. The local organization’s main points of service include Top Teens, women’s services, senior citizen services, community partnership and community beautification. Under the leadership of President Verlie Nobles and Vice President Lady Elois Alex, Top Ladies plan to use the $3,000 grant funding awarded to the nonprofit for Beaumont beautification projects.
