Tyrrell Park Nature Center (TPNC), operated by the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), offers the free “Nature Explorers” program to help children develop a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world, with its next hands-on event set for Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Nature Explorers “Come and Go” sessions are open to the public and will be held at the Tyrrell Park Nature Center, located at 3930 Babe Zaharias Drive in Beaumont, in the renovated historic building in the center of Tyrrell Park.

Learn interesting facts while having fun, “make and take” art, and explore the month’s nature topic. Volunteers are available to guide families with handson activities. Crafts will be available while supplies last.

Interactives are geared primarily towards children ages 5 to 10 years old; but all children are welcome with an adult.
