TEXARKANA, TEXAS MAN GUILTY OF VETERANS FRAUD

TEXARKANA, Texas – A 31-year-old Texarkana, Texas man has pleaded guilty to Veterans Affairs fraud in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Tiawa Charles Braxton pleaded guilty to theft of public money today before U.S. District Judge David J. Folsom.

“Rhapsody in LU” will honor the fine arts at Lamar University on Saturday, March 19, when Lamar’s Friends of the Arts present the 37th Le Grand Bal, a gala evening of art, fine dining, dancing and entertainment. Le Grand Bal is the major annual fundraiser for the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
