LUFKIN, Texas – A 48-year-old Lufkin man has pleaded guilty to disposing of hazardous wastes without a permit in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today. 

David Overdorf pleaded guilty to disposing of hazardous wastes without a permit on Mar. 18, 2011 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Earl S. Hines.

On Saturday, March 19, at about 3 p.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call of an industrial accident at a well site in the 11000 block of Moore Road.

On Friday, 03/18/11, at 08:53 AM Officers from the Orange Police Department Narcotics Division, with the assistance of the Pinehurst Police Department and the Pct. 2 Constable, executed a search warrant at an apartment located at 2600 Allie Payne Rd. (Fox Run Apartments).  Officers seized approximately 32 grams of crack cocaine.  The two adult residents of the apartment, one male and one female, were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree felony.  Arrested were:
