Bears’ duo reel in top 12 at Bassmaster Championship

A total of 457 qualified for the Bass- master High School Championship on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina, but only the Top 12 were good enough to fish on Championship Saturday, including the two-man team of Slade Nunnally and Jacob Longlois of Little CypressMauriceville Bass Fish Team.

Already All-Americans, the team managed a three-day total of 25-4 and earned $750 in scholarship money. Longlois and Nunnally will be back on the water again next season for the Bears.
