Morgan sets new Lumberton swim records

Lumberton freshman Jayde Morgan broke the school record in the 100-meter breaststroke and 500-meter freestyle at the 4A district swim meet in times of 1:10.56 and 5:42.78, respectively. The breaststroke time currently ranks second in Class 4A.

Morgan will next compete in the 4A regional meet Feb. 2-3 at the McDonald Family Aquatics Center at Houston Lamar High School.
