Police in Port Neches have discovered the identity of a woman killed in an auto-pedestrian accident May 9, reports the Port Neches Police Department.

On the morning of March 9, Port Arthur Police responded to the 4300 block of FM 365, in front of the Shire Apartment Complex in reference to an auto/pedestrian traffic accident. According to a press release, officers learned that Port Arthur resident, Linda Faye Middendorf, 54, had attempted to cross the roadway when she was stuck by a 1999 Chevrolet SUV. Middendorf was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital and later succumbed to her injuries.

For an unknown reason, a pedestrian ran out in front of an 18-wheeler on US 96 in Jasper County.  According to a press release, the accident, in which a 26-year-old man from Shelbyville, Texas was struck and killed, occurred about two miles south of Jasper at approximately 6:50 a.m., Jan. 21.

A Nederland woman is dead after being struck by a pickup truck while walking in the 10,000 block of Memorial Blvd in Port Arthur Monday, Dec. 23.

According to a Port Arthur Police Department press release, around 9 p.m., Tiffany Nicole Wagner, 24, was walking north on the Memorial Boulevard northbound access road when a Chevrolet pickup truck also traveling north struck her.
