Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced on Feb. 14 that officers with his Criminal Investigations Division arrested Daniel James Dickson, 44, of Houston, on three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a third-degree felony. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Joseph Lloyd White pleaded guilty to attempted sexual enticement of a child on Dec. 4, 2014, and was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark on April 9.

A 53-year-old Port Arthur man has been sentenced to federal prison for child pornography violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John Malcolm Bales Feb. 17.

John “Johnny” Anthony Sassine pleaded guilty on Nov. 4, 2014 to attempting to transfer obscene material to a minor and was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison Feb. 17 by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark.
