A Jefferson County jury convicted Brandon Ahmad Julun, 31, of Port Arthur, of the felony offense of burglary of a habitation stemming from an incident in which the man burglarized and assaulted his ex-girlfriend, announced Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham today. The verdict was returned following a two day trial. The punishment phase of the trial will occur later in the year once a pre-sentence investigation is completed.
