Services for William “Bill” Vinson, 93, of Longview will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest beside his wife of 66 years, Lois Hatton Vinson, in the mausoleum of Rosewood Park. Mr. Vinson went to the loving arms of his Lord at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016.

Kenneth Wayne Lewis, 67, of Beaumont died Feb. 11, 2016, after an eight-month battle with metastatic bone sarcoma. Known to many as “Ken” or “Kenny,” he was born in Orange on Sept. 28, 1948, to Henry and Violet Lewis. Ken and Kathleen (Cole) Lewis married Dec. 28, 1980, and shared the next 35 years together with their large, blended family.

Longtime lakeside resident June Earline Knight de Leon died peacefully in her Chula Vista home on Nov. 5, 2015, at the age of 79.

Knight de Leon was born December 22, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas, the daughter of Christine Collins and Harry Knight. She graduated from Beaumont High School in 1955 and attended Lamar College of Technology (later advanced to Lamar University), receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1967.
