The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is beginning enforcement efforts across the state focusing specifically on violations of the state’s Move Over/Slow Down law, the department announced Jan. 31. These periodic enforcement operations by DPS Troopers are planned throughout the year at various locations in Texas, with several operations planned in February.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Carlos Rafael Benitez, 29, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, and a cash reward of up to $5,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. Benitez is wanted for failing to appear in court on charges of aggravated assault of a public servant and evading arrest/detention with a vehicle. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
