The IEA – Inspire, Encourage, Achieve Program rang in the 2022 holiday season with its Ben’s Kids Thanksgiving Gathering at the LIT Multi-Purpose Center in Beaumont on Nov. 17.

DPS increases enforcement for Thanksgiving

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol Troopers will increase enforcement on the roads from through Sunday, Nov. 27, looking for people not wearing seat belts, driving while intoxicated, speeding and failing to follow the Move Over, Slow Down law, among other traffic violations.
