Cajun Fest at 5 Under Golf

5 Under Golf (5945 College St.) in Beaumont will host their inaugural Cajun Fest & Gumbo Cook-off on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 6-10 p.m.

Featured activities include a gumbo cook-off, gumbo/andouille sausage and boudin tasting, Megatronix video gaming truck, seven mobile LED video trucks that will show college football games, full outdoor bar, champagne wall, whiskey pull, bourbon and whiskey tasting, washers, cornhole and live Cajun music from the Zydeco Dots and C.C. Connection.

Admission is $15 and includes entry to the event, plus gumbo, andouille and boudin samples.

Other menu items for sale include boudin balls, “Swampadilla,” which is chicken, sausage, grilled onions, bell peppers, mozzarella, in a grilled tortilla with a side of etouffee, pistolettes, chicken and sausage gumbo, chicken and sausage Cajun pasta and crawfish etouffee.
