It’s the final weekend of Port Arthur Little Theatre’s rendition of Arthur Miller’s Tony Award-winner, “The Crucible,” on Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 9. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 7-9 and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 9.

Directed locally by Rhiannon Pletcher, the story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie – and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned.

Cast includes Mya Vincent, Josie Zito, Stephen McDowell, Deanne Flax, Gabrielle Racca, Emily Haynes, Mallory Balsamo, Bailee Proctor, Raven Hankins, Nic Austin, Zoe Johns, Analia Bermudez, Blake Walter, Yoselia Rodriguez, Brandon Greer, Stacey Bradley, John Pletcher, Jorge Rodriguez, Jenny Hamilton, Mark Bradley, Ryer Lanclos, CJ Drago, Patrick Lene, Cole Watson, Pam Housley, John Craig, Chloe Nguyen, Arwen Ewart, Addison Cruie, Kylee Hartman, Victoria Carter and Maddie Frieze.
