The City of Orange Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the second annual Orangetober Festival on Oct. 7-9 at the Riverside Pavilion, located at 708 Simmons Drive, in Orange.

The Orangetober Festival is sure to provide fun for the entire family with a great variety of events and activities. The Pumpkin Village will feature more than 10,000 pumpkins and gourds along with photo opportunities for the entire family.

The first day of the festival will kick off at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, and includes tours of the Pumpkin Village, kids’ activities, food vendors, craft beer, and the featured film “Hocus Pocus” at 7:30 p.m.

Day 2 of the Orangetober Festival begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, with the Big Pumpkin Run. Festival gates open at 10 a.m. Live entertainment on the main stage features Flava Band, JT Reserve, Joey Greer, and headliner Kevin Fowler at 9 p.m.

The festival concludes Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. Families, businesses, and individuals are encouraged to bring pumpkins home for decorating, carving, or eating purposes.
