Beaumont city manager announces retirement

In a letter addressed to the city of Beaumont mayor and council on Tuesday, Nov. 9, City Manager Kyle Hayes announced his intent to retire sometime between March 31 and April 30, 2022.

“Being the City Manager for 19 years has been an honor and a great privilege,” Hayes expressed, giving kudos to staff and current and past councilmembers for city initiatives that have improved the quality of life for residents. “Thank you for your support over the years. The city of Beaumont is a great place to work and I wish all of you and this great city much future success.”
