Proceeds from the event will benefit fundraising efforts to renovate a 50-year-old movie theater into the Jeff Hattman Center for Performing Arts.

Johnnie Faye “Jeff” Hattman, who was an Orange County educator for decades, was also one of the founding members of Orange Community Players. Hattman served the OCP since it’s inception in 1951 until her passing in 2012.

“Jeff was a mentor and inspiration to a countless many, both young and old,” OCP’s affirmation details. “In light of her life service and determination to bring the joy of performing arts to the Orange community, it is only fitting to honor her legacy through The Jeff Hattman Center for the Performing Arts.”
