Interstate shutdown

Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management issued a traffic alert for Friday evening, July 23. According to the office, the inside lane of Interstate 10 eastbound at Major Drive will be closed from 9 p.m.-midnight for repairs. Expect possible delays.

Additionally, Sunday, July 25, US69 southbound at Highway 105 will be closed overnight, 7 p.m. – 4 a.m., due to construction. Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road. Expect possible delays.
