The Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) is hosting a "Cuffs and Hoses" blood drive in honor of police officers and firefighters on Thursday, July 29, and they invite Southeast Texans to stop by the Orange office and donate to save lives.

According to OCSO Detective Joshua Lockett, “Your blood donation will be provided to someone fighting cancer, sickle cell, a surgery patient, or an accident victim... Please donate if you can and let your friends and family know."

The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 205 Border St. in Orange. Anyone who donates will receive a Cuffs and Hoses t-shirt until supplies run out, so get there early to claim yours. Call Det. Lockett at (409) 233-9103 if you have questions or need more information.
