Silsbee man arrested in Tyler County

A Silsbee man was arrested on a warrant in Tyler County. According to Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Ethan Key, 18, was arrested and charged with felony theft on July 5.

Weatherford reported deputies were patrolling FM 1943 between Warren and the Fred area when they stopped a passenger vehicle for a traffic violation. While speaking to the driver, deputies discovered he had an active arrest warrant.

Key was arrested and transported the the Tyler County Jail. Justice of the Peace Ken Jobe set bail at $12,500.
