Detectives with the Orange County Narcotics Division stopped a vehicle on FM 1442 near Interstate 10 on Oct. 19, arresting a man on drug and firearm charges, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Holly Corley.

Corley reported that Cebe Issac Guilbeaux, 41, was stopped and searched after deputies observed a series of traffic infractions. During a search of the vehicle, detectives located “a large amount” of methamphetamine, along with two unlawfully possessed chemical-dispensing devices (CS Gas), and a Keltec .380 handgun that had the serial number removed. Also inside the vehicle were numerous other weapons such as knives, machetes, restraint devices (i.e., handcuffs, chains, etc.) and metal batons.

Guilbeaux was arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail, charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams (methamphetamine), a second-degree felony; possession of a prohibited weapon (chemical dispensing device), a third-degree felony; and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.

Corley added that detectives believe Guilbeaux to be a member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT) and responsible for distribution of controlled substances and weapons in the Mauriceville area.
