The Jasper Police Department (JPD) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying two burglary suspects that struck the Verizon store on West Gibson in Jasper at about midnight on March 9.

According to JPD Lt. Garrett Foster,  two suspects entered the location wearing what appeared to be bandanas or some type of cloth material over their faces along with hooded shirts. Foster stated that the suspects appear to be younger black males with one wearing what appears to be an Adidas jogging suit with a red hooded sweatshirt underneath.

Two unidentified males stole a welding machine from a Beaumont property on Friday, Sept. 21.

According to a statement from Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office, the two suspects committed the burglary of a building in the 2500 block of Westpine Road in Beaumont. Both suspects were seen on surveillance cameras walking up to the residence checking to see if anyone was home and checking to see if the doors were unlocked. The suspects were seen driving a full size white SUV. The suspects stole a welding machine from a storage building on the back of the property.

Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects after responding to a report from a contractor who saw suspicious activity while working at a Northwest Forest residence in the county, just off Tram Road.
