Budweiser Clydesdale

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled to make several appearances in Beaumont and Port Arthur throughout the week of the Southeast Texas Mardi Gras from Feb. 5-11.

Del Papa Distributing in collaboration with the City of Beaumont will host “Budweiser Clydesdale Experience at the Lake” at the Event Centre in downtown Beaumont on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 3-7 p.m.

America’s largest circus is set to host three exciting shows at Ford Arena on Saturday, Feb. 3. The all-new Garden Bros. Circus will have performances in three rings with breathtaking special effects featuring motorcycle daredevils in the sky, elephants, Crazy Cossack Horse Riders, six riders in the Globe of Death, Chinese acrobats, death defying trapeze, world famous human pyramid, tumblers, contortionists, the funniest clowns, aerial artists, jugglers seen on America’s Got Talent and much more.

"eat a bug" at Free Family Arts Day

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) presents its Free Family Arts Day on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Children and their families will get to participate in art activities including candy corn collages, sugar skulls, Stout sculptures, decorate trick-or-treat bags, ghost cookies, and Sense of Home paintings. Activities are inspired by AMSET’s current exhibition, Sense of Home: The Art of Richard Stout and the fall season.

Families will be tempted to “eat a bug” and enjoy folk dancing by the Mexican Heritage Society at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
