The Lutcher Theater has experienced much in its 35-year-history — hurricanes, recessions, a change in direction from more traditional opera and symphony shows to Broadway-style productions. Not only has the non-profit professional performing arts theater endured these challenges, but it has also evolved into one of the most respected venues in the area, offering high-class entertainment one might expect to see in Houston, Dallas and other major U.S. cities.
