BPD shuts down Sun Massage following prostitution arrest

June 20, at 10:30 a.m., detectives from the Beaumont Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Unit arrested Shi Ximei, 42, as confirmed by the Beaumont Police Department.

The arrest followed an investigation prompted by multiple prostitution complaints regarding Sun Massage at 5760 Walden Road. Detectives gathered intelligence that substantiated the complaints and established probable cause for the owner's arrest.

Following this, detectives entered the establishment, and Beaumont Fire Department and city Code Enforcement personnel conducted an inspection, uncovering violations that led to the business being shut down.

Ximei was booked for prostitution without incident. The investigation is ongoing, with additional evidence being processed, which may lead to further suspect(s) and arrests.
